Egg Drop Soup

Ingredients:
2 large eggs - 150 calories
2 cups of low-sodium chicken broth - 40 calories
1/4 cup of water - 0 calories
1 tablespoon of soy sauce - 8 calories
1 teaspoon of cornstarch - 30 calories
1/2 teaspoon of salt - 0 calories
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper - 2 calories
1/4 cup of finely chopped green onions - 8 calories
1/2 cup of thinly sliced carrots - 24 calories
1/2 cup of thinly sliced mushrooms - 8 calories
This recipe is already low in calories. If you want to lower the calories even further, then minimize the amount of the following ingredients:
Cornstarch

Instructions:
Start by cracking the eggs into a bowl and whisk them together until they are mixed well.

Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat.
Once it starts boiling, lower the heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
Slowly pour the whisked eggs into the hot soup, stirring constantly with a spoon or whisk to create soft, fluffy strands that blend into the soup.
